SiLution is an engineered silica delivery solution designed to enhance the performance of Diatomix in waterbodies where bioavailable silica is limiting diatom growth. It acts as a highly soluble silica source — where no silica limitation aids to improve nutrient uptake (nitrogen and phosphorus), diatom productivity and long-term water quality outcomes when used with Diatomix formulations.

The new product “SiLution™” is a paste that contains amorphous silica. It can be used as a slow-release additive to ponds to ensure the reactive silica concentration stays high enough to make Diatomix™ and Diatomix IV™ optimally effective.
